City-to-city transfers from Zurich

Request a city-to-city transfer from Zurich by giving the final address, date, passengers, bags and any stops or return leg. Lucerne, Basel and Interlaken are planning examples; route scope, vehicle and price need individual confirmation. Include bulky equipment and final connections for an Alpine stay.

01 / PLAN YOUR JOURNEY

Lucerne, Basel and the next Swiss address

For Lucerne, give the final hotel or street address rather than “Lake Lucerne”: the lake region covers different destinations. For Basel, distinguish the city hotel or meeting venue from an airport or station. For Interlaken, identify the property and any onward connection instead of treating the region as a single drop-off point.

If your trip starts with an international arrival at ZRH, include the flight and the collection arrangements. Ask for the longer drive and any planned break to be considered together. The destination names here are quote-request examples; they do not establish a scheduled service, fixed fare or guaranteed driving time.

02 / PLAN YOUR JOURNEY

Rhine Falls, Rapperswil and Alpine plans

A day visit to the Rhine Falls or Rapperswil needs a specific drop-off location, time at the destination and return plan. Consult official visitor information for the attraction or town and arrange admissions separately. Transport to an area does not automatically include a guide, boat ride, entrance ticket or waiting throughout the visit.

For an Alpine stay, provide the exact resort and accommodation, the travel date and all bulky equipment. Skis, snowboards and large winter cases need a separate fit discussion. Ask the accommodation about the final approach and identify any rail, cableway or other connection. Weather, road conditions and access can affect the proposed route and timing.

03 / PLAN YOUR JOURNEY

Stops, return legs and cross-border requests

List each planned stop, its address and expected length. A return leg needs its own date, collection point and pickup time; it is not included merely because you request an outward trip. Share any fixed arrival requirement and allow space for road conditions and agreed breaks.

You may ask about Konstanz, Munich or another cross-border address, with the destination country and complete itinerary. Cross-border scope, availability and route costs require explicit confirmation. Travellers should check their own documents and entry requirements with official authorities; a transport enquiry does not settle those questions.

What helps an onward-transfer quote

  • Full pickup and destination addresses, including the country if relevant.
  • Date, preferred collection time and any fixed onward connection.
  • Flight details if the journey starts at ZRH.
  • All passengers and standard bags, plus bulky items or equipment.
  • Stops, expected break lengths and whether a return leg is requested.
  • Child-seat or accessibility needs and a reachable contact.
  • Ski, snowboard and oversized-case dimensions, plus any final resort connection.

Three steps to a clear plan

  1. Describe both ends

Choose Transfer and enter the collection and final address, with a date and Zurich pickup time.

  2. Outline the route

Add stops, any return leg, flight details and equipment or cross-border requirements in the comments.

  3. Confirm the complete journey

Review availability, the vehicle, itinerary, quote and relevant terms before considering the trip booked.

All seven vehicles for your journey

For an onward journey, consider all the luggage carried for the whole trip as well as the number of seats. Compare the seven categories and their published figures below, then describe oversized cases, child seats and equipment. If the party or baggage changes on a return leg, include that detail when requesting the vehicle.

City-to-city transfers from Zurich: FAQs

Are Lucerne, Basel and Interlaken guaranteed routes?

They are destination examples for quote requests. Send the full addresses, date, passengers and bags so the route, vehicle and availability can be assessed. There is no published timetable or guarantee that every destination is available at every time.

Can the journey begin at Zurich Airport?

Yes, you can request ZRH as the pickup and another city as the destination. Include the flight number and onward address so airport collection, baggage and the longer route can be reviewed together.

Can I request stops on the way?

List each stop, its address and how long you expect to remain there. Stops and waiting affect the itinerary and must be included in the confirmed quote. A city-to-city request does not automatically include sightseeing or unlimited breaks.

Can I take skis or large equipment on an onward journey?

Describe the number, size and type of items, as well as passengers and standard cases. Standard-bag figures do not cover every bulky item. The exact vehicle and equipment fit, and the route to the final property, need confirmation before travel.

Is a return trip included?

Only if it is expressly agreed. Provide the return date, pickup address, time and party details when requesting a quote. Outward and return arrangements should be identifiable in the confirmation rather than assumed from a single destination.
